First of all, stunning photo of the Roses! It must be early summer, you two are in full bloom. Awesome to hear how resilient one’s body can be after the bombardment yours has been subjected to as of late. You two deserve much better engagement and collaboration from your diverse medical and health teams. Remission is the mission. Love from the Island! J & A
You and Angela are wonderful anchors for us. We love looking across the water and the mountains knowing you’re right there. The “ContaBand” concert set off a wave of healing, really. Soon we’ll be back in the relaxed, having fun mode and we’ll head straight to the Black Ball Ferry. Hugs to you both.
My heart sank a few times reading this last posting. But as I got closer to the end I was heartened by your resilience. Then I reached the photo. Radiant joy!
RE-mission is THE Mission!! You are truly a warrior Rosie….and Jackie is a warrior who has your back…Ina too. I continue to be amazed and baffled by what is being thrown at you, and your ability to RISE above and beyond what is needed to get through. As I was reading this update…I kept shaking my head—quietly mumbling—OMG, over and over. What next, what next? Seeing you on the other side of what next …warrior poised…saying,” I got this, damn it all, I got this!” The way you write about these “bumps” is beautiful and eloquent, not to mention impressive as hell!! I am so blessed to be in your “camp.” I love you Rosie❤️
Your resilience is astounding and inspirational! It is rare that I'm at a loss for words : ), but I struggle to find fitting ones that adequately convey my admiration, compassion and respect for all you & Jackie having experienced as you navigate this cancer journey together. Plus, you write beautifully.
I'm about to get on a plane to attend my daughter's wedding (yay you were able to go to Jonathan's!), so this is brief. But the thoughts, love, and sparkles I'm sending are warm and ever present. Hugs and love to you both. Stay strong and carry on! Remission is the mission. Susan <3
